Krones Linatronic Empty Bottle Inspector (2014)

Overview

This empty bottle inspector (EBI) was manufactured in 2014 by the German manufacturer Krones. The machine is designed for the inspection of empty glass bottles prior to filling in beverage production lines. It is still in production and will be professionally dismantled in early 2027 as the complete filling line will be replaced.

• Capacity: currently running at 18,500 bph, but can also work at significantly higher speeds.

• Formats:

  • 0.75l bottle

  • 0,5l bottle

• Application: Inspection of empty bottles prior to filling

• Configuration: Multiple inspection modules including base inspection, sealing surface inspection, thread inspection, mouth/finish inspection, sidewall inspection, residual liquid detection, foreign container detection, bottle height control (±2.5 mm tolerance)
