Robino & Galandrino ZENITH Z 2/16 OTTICO Capsuling Machine (2004)

Overview

This Robino & Galandrino ZENITH Z 2/16 OTTICO is a rotary capsuling machine for sparkling wine bottles, built in 2004. It places and crimps capsules onto 750 ml glass bottles, with optical spotting so that a printed capsule is aligned to the bottle before crimping.

The machine is laid out as a two-turret unit: a capsule distributor turret feeding a 16-head rotary crimping turret, rated at 12,000 bottles per hour. It is still installed and under power, remains in production until end of January 2027, and can be visited in operation on request.
