STONE LB20 S20 Bottle Dryer (1995)

Overview

This bottle washer-dryer was built in 1995 by the French manufacturer STONE. It cleaned and dried the outside of filled glass bottles ahead of labelling in a wine bottling line with an output of 6,000 bottles per hour, running 375 ml, 750 ml and 1 L formats. The machine combines a rotary washing module (LB20) with vertical rotating brushes and a 3 m air drying tunnel (S20), linked by the bottle conveyor. It is still installed and under power and can be visited on request.
