Gruber KombiKEG KEG Filling Machine (2017)

Overview

This Gruber KombiKEG is a semi-automatic combined keg cleaning and filling machine for kegs and one-way kegs, rated at approximately 30 kegs per hour. Cleaning, sterilisation and filling run as one automatic cycle: interval cleaning of keg wall and down tube with caustic and acid, steam sterilisation, and counter-pressure filling with differential pressure control. The machine was installed in 2017 by BRAUKON and is fed by stainless steel roller conveyors on the infeed and outfeed side.

The machine is built entirely in stainless steel and carries one cleaning head, one sterilisation station and one filling head. Filling runs with CO2 or nitrogen. Control is a Siemens SIMATIC PLC with a colour touch panel for settings, temperature and differential pressure control, error messages and counters.

It is still installed, connected and in production, and can be visited in operation on request.

Condition

Used, in production and still installed under power. Approximately 3,000 operating hours, around 90,000 kegs filled and 75,000 kegs cleaned. Last production April 2026, last maintenance January 2026. The machine is clean, maintained and ready to produce. It is being replaced by a higher capacity machine.
