VIG 2x 5000 l Fermentation and storage cellar (2019)

Overview

This lot comprises two VIG pressure tanks of 5,000 litres each, built in 2019 by VIG Vertrieb Industrieller Güter (Kreuztal, Germany). The vessels are CE-marked pressure vessels according to EC pressure equipment directive 2014/68/EU and were last used as activated carbon filters in a brewery’s water treatment.

Each tank is fitted with a filter star; the filter candles show light damage. The tanks are interconnected with DN 65 piping and come with butterfly valves for cleaning, draining and shut-off as well as vacuum/check valves. With their young year of construction and availability as a pair, the vessels suit filtration and pressure-holding duties in breweries and beverage plants alike.
