Krones Contiform, Mecafill, Canmatic Line for Non-Returnable PET Bottles (2004)

Overview

Krones PET bottling line (wet part) built in 2004 for still and carbonated water: a CONTIFORM S8 stretch blow moulder blocked with a MECAFILL isobaric filler and capper, followed by a CANMATIC hot-melt labeller with CHECKMAT inspection. Nominal output is 13,500 bottles/hour on 0.5 L. The line runs 0.5 L, 1.0 L and 1.5 L PET bottles with PCO 1881 neck finish. It is still installed and under power, and can be visited.
