KHS Corvus Filtration system (2007)

Overview

This KHS Corvus is a skid-mounted cartridge filtration system (microfiltration), built in 2007 by KHS AG in Dortmund, Germany. Four stainless steel KHS cartridge filter housings for 40-inch cartridges are connected through a pneumatically operated valve manifold and controlled from the skid's own stainless steel control cabinet with Siemens PLC. The Corvus range is designed for clarifying filtration, cold sterile filtration and safety filtration of wine, beer and water ahead of the filler. This unit was last used for wine filtration in a bottling line.
